Commando has a rigorous multi sized fit process that is unique to the industry- rather than fitting a style on a model with standard proportions and simply grading up or down, Commando tests their garments on all sizes and create unique customised patterns to optimise fit. Kerry personally fit tests every garment and if she does not love it- it will not go into production. The wear testing process allows the brand to determine the feel and performance of the garment during regular wear on real women. Commando are also passionate about people- ensuring that people producing the garments are working under proper conditions and being paid fair wages. Commando also offers paid training to sewers and production workers interested in developing skills to sew, cut, trim and produce.
