SS24 TREND REPORT

For SS24 I was ready for some newness and a change in direction with our collections. It felt time for me to revisit who The Dressing Room is and what we are all about. At the heart of what I do is finding newness, discovering niche brands and bringing them to The Dressing Room and for this season I am excited to introduce some new collections and fresh directions from existing favourites that encapsulate a new, optimistic fashion story.

Soft, calm tones and romantic pastels are mixed with a 70’s vibe of waistcoats, gilets and knitwear.

Separates are key and a great pair of jeans will be firm favourites for us all as we mix and match our pieces this season.

There is a return to the Parisian way of dressing with soft, feminine blouses worn back with denim with an edge. Embroidery, broderie anglaise and crochet give a 70’s Woodstock feel to Spring’s fashion outlook.

Scandi cool has taken a more refined approach this season, back to their cool neutral values that are more about discreet chic than statement dresses. Elegant tailoring, a boxy t shirt, crisp shirting and loose, fluid layers are key to nailing this look along with the perfect Trench.

The colour palette is refined with Tarragon and Mint green, Soft Blue, Romantic pink and white. Pops of colour from Fiery Red, Sunset Orange, Mustard yellow sit back with sand, khaki and earthy brown. For the colour lovers there are bright hues worn back with softer neutrals to balance the look.

We are so excited to have the following brands added to the Dressing Room Edit: Louise Misha, Seventy + Mochi, Meotine, Newtone Tee’s, and for resortwear Sorbet Island, Valerie Khalfon (relaunch), Place du Soleil.

I am so looking forward to you seeing our new collections and hope you feel as lifted by them when they arrive as I did editing them.
