Laidbacklondon was created in 2002 by Mohamed Daya at the time fast fashion was was bomming but Mohamed saw the value of offering product made using traditonal craftmanship. Mohamed would travel back and fourth from his hometown in Mombasa with these sandals that had been crafted by local Kenyan artisans to sell in London's busy markets. And that is how Laidback London was born, a sandal with a story and a give back to the locals
