In 2007, siblings Giulia and Aldo Acchiardi moved to London, where they found the inspiration for their clothing collection, Harris Wharf London, launched in 2010. With a family history steeped in textile craftsmanship and innovation, the brand has grown steadily to become a contemporary classic

Giulia Acchiardi, who graduated in Fashion Design in London in 2008, gained valuable experience through internships at Alexander McQueen and Vivienne Westwood before deciding to start her own label with her brother, Aldo, who was studying Economics at the time. Giulia's design philosophy is to follow her instincts, emphasising the importance of understanding and overseeing all aspects of the family business as integral to the design process. All styles are produced in the family factory in Turin, Italy.

Among the perennial favourites is the Harris Wharf London cocoon coat, a chic style featuring notch lapels and a distinctive raw edge hem.

The jersey-focused collection is minimal and understated, featuring unlined and raw-edged outerwear that offers an effortless take on traditional cuts and shapes. The aim is to create styles that last for many years, thanks to the fabric's longevity, trans-seasonal features, and timeless design. Harris Wharf London's sustainability process begins with the careful selection of high-quality fabrics that meet sustainable characteristics such as traceability, natural fibres being AZO and REACH compliant, and recyclability. To further reduce their environmental footprint, the brand uses a digital cutting system to maximise fabric efficiency and minimise waste. Harris Wharf London produces only to order, ensuring minimal leftover stock. Any eventual waste is sent to a specialised consortium to be recycled into new yarn, ensuring that fabric leftovers are managed in the most sustainable way possible
