The Dressing Room x Citizens of Humanity Earlier this week we celebrated the launch of our Citizens of Humanity showcase, and the launch of the new @citizensofhumanity spring collection with a creator community lunch event. After a browse at the store, we started with welcome drinks at @thehubonverulam for a chance to take a look at the Spring collection, and then headed over to @hazels.sta for a 5 course taster menu showcasing a range of seasonal Spring inspired dishes. CITIZENS OF HUMANITY: HOW IT’S MADE Every pair of Citizens of Humanity jeans begins with design. Their patternmakers craft the perfect fit and cut each piece of denim on automated machines to minimise waste. Next comes the sewing. Each pair of Citizens Of Humanity jeans go through up to 50 steps, and are handled by 40 plus skilled hands. Every stitch, every seam, and every detail is crafted with care across their LA and Turkey facilities. Then the jeans are washed and dyed using water-saving, eco-friendly techniques. From ozone processes to laser tech, each step reduces their footprint, while perfecting the denim. Finally, the finish. Each pair is hand-inspected, pressed, and prepped. The result: premium jeans built with integrity, skill, and obsession, ready to wear and love. Citizens of Humanity is fully vertically integrated, owning and controlling their entire supply chain to ensure every pair meets the highest standard of quality.
