SNEAK PEEK: The Skall Studio Show Deryane and Charlotte were lucky enough to be invited to preview the Skall Studio AW26 Collection in January at Copenhagen Fashion Week. Sisters Julie and Marie Skall drew inspiration from Danish literary icon Karen Blixen and her lifelong relationship with flowers, exploring blooms not as something delicate, but as symbols of strength, reflection and continuity. Presented to only 100 guests (!!) the atmospheric show unfolded by candlelight, with 20 considered looks showcasing Skall Studio’s enduring commitment to craft. Think rich brown and red florals, woven textures, delicate lace and embroidery, and strong wool tailoring. Adding to the mood was a beautiful live performance from Nepal-born, New York-based artist Varsha Thapa (who is also a model for Chanel!) as models emerged carrying wicker baskets filled with flowers and blankets.
