The Dressing Room, a multi award winning ladies fashion boutique based in St. Albans, Hertfordshire first opened in May 2005. Our aim is to offer beautifully made, affordable fashion in an elegant, laid back and luxurious environment.

You are encouraged to browse at your leisure or you can receive our undivided attention to help you bring out your personal style. A Style by appointment service is available for customers’ who desire a greater level of personal attention, or you can book the dressing room to you and we will bring our expertise to a place of your choice!

We have seating areas, magazines and refreshments available in store to keep weary partners happy so you can really take your time, explore and have fun with our collections.

In November 2006 our hard work and passion was recognised by the industry and we were awarded Best New Business at the Drapers Awards 2006. We were then thrilled to be awarded Womenswear Retailer of The Year at the Drapers Fashion awards 2009. In 2011 The Dressing Room were the proud winners of Two Drapers Awards for Womenswear Retailer of the Year and the coveted title of Independent Retailer of the Year!

Opening Times

We are open 7 days a week, Monday - Saturday 9.30-6pm. Sunday 11-5pm. Bank Holidays 11-5pm. We close at 2pm Christmas Eve and 5pm on New Years Eve. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and Easter Sunday.

On Sunday 28th April we will be closed from 11am - 1pm for a private event and re-open from 1pm - 5pm.
