Fashion Show was a Phenomenal Success!!!

It was the biggest fashion event that herfordshire has seen in a long time! With a BBC3 TV crew filming the event, press taking notes, photographers snapping away, a DJ set up in the window, a fully functioning cocktail bar and a catwalk set up in the middle of the store the dressing Room was transformed into a buzzing fashion show!

The event was a sell out success (with tickets selling out in a few hours!), guests were queuing around the block to get in and the atmosphere was booming! Dressing Room director Deryane gave an opening speech thanking loyal customers for their support over the last five years then Stacey Dooley (who is a presenter on BBC3 and works at the dressing Room part-time) gave a moving speech about her recent trip to Congo. She talked about the desperate situations of some of the children she met out there that are forced into killing as child soldiers and as you can imagine there wasn’t a dry eye in the house!

The Catwalk show went very smoothly, with models working looks from key trends of the season, plus a sneak preview of what is to come for Autumn/Winter. The show finished with some show stopping Butter by Nadia dresses and a huge applause from the crowds!

After the show there was some frantic shopping to grab all of the best bits from the show and a Raffle was drawn with 10 lucky winners who all got fantastic prizes! It was a really great evening and so far we have raised around £3000 for Stacey’s Charity, which is fantastic! Thank you so much to everyone that contributed towards the show and everyone that came along and donated money to the Charity.

Also to Dennis who was our DJ on the night, the gorgeous models-who looked fantastic and to everyone else that contributed raffle prizes. All of these people helped out for free and we can't thank them enough!
