10 Year in Store Birthday Event

We kicked off our 10th Birthday celebrations with a bang with a fantastic in store event on Sunday 10th May.  Families, friends, suppliers and many familiar faces joined the queue before 12pm, getting very excited for what we had in store! We treated everyone with prosecco, pimms and lemonade and our custom made Dressing Room Birthday cake designed and baked by St Albans company Heaven is a Cupcake. also to amuse the little ones we provided a popcorn machine!

We were so happy to see so many familiar faces from customers to brand suppliers including Great Plains, American Vintage and Pyrus who definitely made the day extra special.

Deryane cut the DR Birthday cake, and it certainly went down a treat with everyone, including all of us at the end of the day! In Deryane’s true style everything was styled to tie in with our branding from the flowers, the cake, balloons, our 10th anniversary bags and our new bespoke luxury candles.

We were joined on the day by Anouska Woods and her son, adorning everyone with gorgeous metallic flash tattoo’s.  Available in store and online, these are the perfect summer accessory.

We ran our popular charity raffle, raising money for Gandys charity Orphans for Orphans. Our very generous friends from local retailers donated some fantastic prizes including D.Copperfield, Rachel Jeffery Jewellers, Atelier Spa in Redbourn and many more. Thank you everyone that supported us – we managed to raise a worthy £350 for the charity.

We ran a fun Instagram competition and selected a lucky winner at random to win a beautiful Day Birger et Mikkelsen Luxury Travel set worth £275. Well worth getting your picture taken for we say….!

We finished off the event in true DR style with our famous goody bags worth over £200 for purchases over £50. 

We were inundated with so many gorgeous gifts and cards throughout the week and on the day from our lovely customers so thank you everyone for being so generous, it was quite unexpected and overwhelming.  As you can see here Charlotte is having fun juggling some champagne and flowers whilst moving through the crowd.
